Things have been a bit Spartan around here lately… life got in the way. There was work, then a side project or four followed immediately by mental chaos due to moving, etc etc.

So I’m spending this evening with Thom Yorke, Tumblr and the blogs I’ve neglected for 6 weeks in order to get back on track. I’m also getting ready to take my first extended trip back to the midwest after 6 months of almost never leaving New York City so I expect my former volume of delightful images will resume soon as my sanity also comes back.

Augmented Reality.

Interesting concept via today and tomorrow: The four FRONT members have developed a method to materialise free hand sketches. They make it possible by using a unique method where two advanced techniques are combined.
Pen strokes made in the air are recorded with Motion Capture and become 3D digital files; these are then materialised through Rapid Prototyping into real pieces of furniture.
